TAMIYA 58722 MERCEDES-BENZ CLK AMG

The streamlined 2-door coupe Mercedes-Benz CLK had an AMG-version with a 4-liter V8 engine capable of 470hp, that was a base for a race car. It had enlarged front and rear fenders to mount thick tires, and its side sill spoilers and rear wing ensured improved aerodynamics. In the 2002 German Touring Car Masters, the race car secured the Teams' Championship.

The model is based upon the TT-02, a shaft-driven 4WD chassis with superb balance and controllability, plus a builder-friendly assembly process aided by identical arm and upright components and easy-access differentials, not to mention a choice of settings for wheelbase and tread, and even 10 different gear ratios (these require separately sold pinion gears).
